Hello! I’m Charlotte Byers, a fashion design major at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Coming from Des Moines, Iowa, my passion for sewing began when I received my mom’s vintage 1970s Singer sewing machine at the age of ten.
I’ve had the honor of being a guest designer for the 'Bubble Ball' runway show fundraiser and have interned as an assistant seamstress at the Des Moines Metro Opera. One of my designs was even featured in a grocery store campaign!
In addition to fashion, I’m a drummer in an all-girl indie rock band, which greatly influences my creative process. I am dedicated to creating inclusive and sustainable fashion because I believe everyone should have the opportunity to enjoy it.
