Fashion 110 final: create a sci-fi garment completely out of silver house insulation.
The year is 1950, sea levels are rapidly rising, and London is completely underwater. Where will humanity live once we destroy this earth? Space? No, Underwater. Humanity will live in giant submarines deep underwater. We must wear coats made of insulation to keep warm.
Inspired by vintage submarines, deep sea diving suits ,and nautical ropes, I created this coat out of house insulation, 300 grommets, and rope to fit the sci-fi theme of the final.
